Ankur Mathur

Ankur Mathur is a registered architect from IIT Kharagpur, India, with 16 years of work experience in the AEC industry. He established the BIM division at Satellier and has spearheaded the infusion of BIM, not only at Satellier, but also at client offices. Ankur has extensive industry experience, and has worked with principals and project managers of the top US, UK, ME, Indian Owners, Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering and Construction firms. He has developed and implemented customized BIM strategies for various client and projects. He specializes in creating accelerated BIM implementation program, by leveraging BIM+workshare solutions for Satellier clients.
Ankur has 7 years experience in deploying BIM and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) technology process on more than 300 projects of varied size and complexity. Considered to be a pioneer and expert in the BIM space, he co-authored the book “Autodesk Revit for Building Designers & Architect”, published by CAD/CIM Technologies, USA in 2004. This book was one of the first books published on the subject, and was used as a textbook in US schools of architecture. His experience includes a 5-year stint with the internationally renowned architect Mr. Raj Rewal. As an entrepreneur, he also headed an architectural firm for 5 years, designing and executing a number of architectural and interior projects in India, from concept to completion.
