- Assist Design architect at the Concept and Schematic stages with India specific know-how (codes, bye-laws, materials, weather/climate data, cultural issues etc)
- In consultation with other consultants/sub-consultants, refine and develop the schematic design, design and develop details, select materials and generate the Construction Documents (CD) on the basis of the approved Tender drawings and specifications
- Coordinate the Architectural design with all other professional consultants to generate Architectural Tender drawings and Technical specifications to assist the Client in the preparation of Tender documents
- Prepare Municipal drawings and lead the approval process with the concerned departments.
- Satellier’s architects are drawn from cities across India and are familiar with the code requirements of various municipalities.
- Satellier maintains relationships with facilitating architects in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, NOIDA, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kolkata who assist in obtaining municipal approvals
- Assist the Client in pre-qualification of contractors, suppliers, and other vendors
- Assist the Client with clarifications during the Tendering process.
- Check and approve architectural material samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, and other related submissions by contractors and vendors to ensure that they conform with the design intent
- Attend site coordination meetings to ascertain that the construction works are proceeding in accordance with the design intent and advise the Client, as appropriate, in order that they may take necessary action
- Provide certificate of ‘Virtual Completion’ for architectural works on the practical completion of the construction
