Mikele Brack
Director of Global Partnerships and Alliances
A true global leader in design, construction and outsourced AEC services, Mikele has been involved in the industry, from North America to Asia to Europe, since 1991, affording her strategic insights into the varied cultures and industry processes around the world.
Educated at the University of Waterloo in Canada and Oxford Brookes University in England, Mikele became an urban development, planning and design consultant based sequentially in Canada, South East Asia and the United Kingdom, and was involved in the planning and implementation of numerous strategic development projects in Canada, Hong Kong, China, India and across the UK and continental Europe.
After a career shift to the technology sector in 2000 (leading North Asian business development and corporate marketing for Seattle-based F5 Networks) and graduation from London Business School with an MSc from the Sloan School of Management in 2003, Mikele became integrally involved in the development of the AEC outsourcing industry in the UK.
Heading business development for a local service provider, Mikele spearheaded strategic partnerships with the UK’s leading architecture practices, working with them to establish the processes that now define outsourcing protocols for UK companies designing and constructing buildings worldwide.
Mikele joined Satellier in 2008 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Europe, serving long-established users of outsourced services, along with an expanded client base, with design and production support in CAD and offering them, for the first time, access to world class BIM services and the link Satellier provides to the fast-growing India market. Building on the strategic relationships between the UK and many global markets, she travelled frequently to the Middle East to introduce Satellier’s services to UK companies with operations in the Gulf Region and to Australia to establish Satellier’s presence in that market.
As Director of Global Partnerships and Alliances, Mikele continues to expand Satellier’s global presence by forging links with well-established specialists in new regions worldwide, and works with large AEC firms with globally distributed offices to consolidate their outsourcing strategies with a single, cost-effective solution. Mikele also works with developer, owners and corporate services providers, offering end-to-end BIM solutions for the design and construction of new buildings through to the management of distributed building portfolios.
