Rajesh is a qualified chartered accountant and cost accountant by profession in India. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. In his 16 years of corporate experience, he has worked in different functions of finance and accounting in Indian and international organizations and brings with him global knowledge of accounting, treasury, strategy and planning, financial management, credit control and collections. Before joining Satellier in May 2008, Rajesh has worked in senior positions at IBM, Hutchison and Escorts.
Rajesh has successfully led from the front on various initiatives - ranging from strategy and planning to conclusion of M&A transactions, integration of acquired companies, corporate structuring and tax planning, building infrastructure, rightsizing of teams, costing of products and services, successfully managing due diligence, audits and reviews conducted by reputed audited firms, implementing ERP and other finance software, documentation and implementation of financial processes, procedures and practices in fast growing businesses, raising debt funds and equity from VC/PE and strategic investors, managing interface with high profile investors and board of directors, framing policies and processes for growing companies, legal and SOX compliance for US and European companies, initiating six sigma practices and handling global finance consolidation.Rajesh has proven leadership skills and loves challenges.
